Clinical Supervision is a process which supports counsellors and other mental health practitioners to provide a better, more confident and creative service to clients.

It will help you do your by providing:

  • An opportunity to reflect on and get objective, supportive feedback on practice
  • Process and de-brief difficult or upsetting client sessions
  • Support to enhance your skills, competence and confidence
  • A reflective space and emotional support
  • Assistance with professional development
  • Guidance on delivering services to clients in a safe and ethical manner
  • Reduce the likelihood of burn out by ensuring any stress is processed and appropriate self-care, boundary setting and time management is put in place
  • Information about compliance with professional and organisational treatment standards and ethics and legal issues in practice.

 

Gail is a qualified supervisor and a member of the Australian College of Supervisors. Gail believes that a supportive supervisor is imperative to help you navigate complexities in your client work, ensure your professional growth, wellbeing and longevity in the field.

Supervision is available face-to-face or via telehealth, for ongoing sessions or for a one-off specific supervision support.
