Relationships can be both deeply rewarding and at times incredibly challenging. Couples counselling offers a supportive space to reconnect, improve communication, and work through patterns that may be creating distance or tension in your relationship.
My approach is informed by Level 2 training in the Gottman Institute method, which is grounded in decades of research into what helps relationships thrive. Alongside this, I bring a trauma-informed lens, recognising how past experiences, attachment patterns, and nervous system responses can shape how we relate to our partners today.
Sessions are tailored to each couple and may focus on strengthening friendship and emotional connection, navigating conflict more effectively, rebuilding trust, or understanding underlying relational dynamics. The work is practical, respectful, and collaborative, helping couples develop tools they can use beyond the therapy room.
It is no small thing to allow a counsellor into your relationship, so to ensure that you feel comfortable I offer a 15-minute free consultation for you to decide if I am the right fit for you. Alternatively, you are welcome to email me with any questions.
