About Restore Me Counselling
Restore Me Counselling was created from a deep belief in the human capacity to heal, grow, reconnect and be restored within a sense of safety and value, even after difficult, painful or traumatic experiences.
I am a compassionate, person-centred counsellor with a strong passion for working with children, adolescents, and adults, particularly those impacted by trauma, relationship breakdown, abuse recovery and religious trauma. I understand that trauma can affect the nervous system, emotions, behaviour, relationships, and the way we see ourselves and the world.
I have a particular passion for supporting children and adolescents, recognising that this can be a time where distress is shown through behaviour, emotions, or withdrawal rather than words. My approach with young clients is gentle, developmentally appropriate, and focused on helping them feel safe, understood, and supported. I work at each child’s pace, supporting emotional regulation, resilience, and confidence in a way that feels respectful and empowering. When appropriate I use Art or Play therapy modalities.
It’s a privilege to work with adult clients as they have felt safe enough to start to make sense of and heal from childhood trauma, abusive relationships, religious trauma, grief, loss and their uncertainty of their future.
My work is trauma-informed, person-centred, and nervous-system aware. I believe that restoration happens when clients feel genuinely heard and supported, and when therapy honours both the mind and the body. I work collaboratively with clients to provide a calm, non-judgemental space where healing can occur.
Whether you are seeking support for yourself or your child or adolescent, my aim is to offer a space that feels calm, non-judgemental, and empowering — a place where healing and growth can unfold at a pace that feels right for you.
